The agency said the presence of security agents during the Operation would guard against attacks and harassment of its personnel

The Board chairman of KWASAA, Usman Abubakar Mora, said this when he led management team of the agency on a courtesy visit to the state commandant of NSCDC, Makinde Isikil Ayinla.

A statement from the press secretary of the agency, Abubakar Owolabi quoted Mora as informing the commandant that the purpose of the visit was to familiarize and solicit the support of the security outfit for the agency to carry out its lawful duty.

He emphasized for the agency to generate revenue for the state to undertake more developmental projects.

Also speaking, the Director-General of the agency, Olorunshola Omotayo, explained that the agency would soon unveil its programmes for an improved revenue generation, saying that plan was underway to organize stakeholders forums where all and sundry would be sensitized on the operations of KWASAA.

On the issue of defaulters, Omotayo explained that the agency was working round the clock to ensure revenue enforcement was taken seriously and ensure that criminal act was prosecuted accordingly.

Ayinla promised to within the confines of the law, support kWASAA to effectively carry out its constitutional duty of generating revenue for the state.

He expressed reservation over the lackadaisical attitude of some individuals to revenue payment, advised the agency to make a concerted effort to address the issue of indiscriminate erection of billboard signposts.

Speaking about the activities of his command, the commandant told the team that NSCDC was working day and night to identify miscreants, hideouts,s and men of the underworld in order to dislodge and bring them to book.
