Senator Smart Adeyemi of Kogi APC Alleges Daylight Robbery

Senator Smart Adeyemi, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Aviation, has slammed the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primaries in Kogi State, calling them a “total robbery of democracy.”

Senator Adeyemi, speaking to journalists in ABUJA for the first time about the results of the primaries, claimed that the process was a daylight robbery on the candidates.
He claimed that the election was not free nor fair, and that it was a complete abridgement of democracy, a daylight heist, and a highly orchestrated process.

Senator Adeyemi, while lamenting that the APC leadership foisted a serving commissioner as the returning officer for the exercise, who in turn compelled people to vote against their will, disclosed that he has filed.
