The Obele Community High School Class of 1994 held its first reunion meeting on Sunday, January 29, 2023. Over half of the members, both from inside and outside the country, came to the meeting at the school.
Tayo Johnson, an alumnus of the school, served as the anchor for the meeting. In his opening speech, he highlighted the goals of the reunion and thanked God for making it possible after 29 years.
During the meeting, the members elected their leadership team, with Mr. Olutayo Olujobi being elected as president, Engr. Iwuoha Chinedu Mark as general secretary, and Mrs. Esther Nwafor as treasurer. These positions are temporary, and the principal officers will be responsible for managing the association.
