Massive Bust: Church Burglary Unearths Stolen Cache; Suspects Apprehended

In a recent development, a reported burglary at an undisclosed church in Delta State has led law enforcement agencies to uncover a significant collection of stolen items. Sources close to the ongoing investigation disclosed that on November 30th, 2023, at around 16:32 hrs, a breakthrough occurred as operatives followed leads that directed them to Eburu Street in Warri.

The recovery operation yielded various valuable pieces of equipment believed to be linked to the reported burglary. Among the items retrieved were eleven large loudspeakers, five professional power amplifiers, six professional mixers, electronic decks, a plasma TV, generators, and other valuable equipment. This was disclosed in a statement provided by DSP Edafe Bright, Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State Command, Asaba.

After the operation, multiple suspects have been apprehended and are presently in police custody. Legal proceedings are anticipated pending the conclusion of the investigation.

According to a statement attributed to the Delta State Command, CP Abass emphasized the command’s steadfast commitment to eradicating crime in the region. He stressed the significance of collaborative efforts from the public and urged individuals to share any pertinent information through their nearest police station or the Police Public Relations Office.

The recovery of these stolen goods underscores the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to ensure the safety and security of the Delta State community.
