Dr. Olajide Adediran, the People’s Democratic Party’s candidate for governor in Lagos State, claims the state government is interfering with his campaign.
Adediran alias Jandor asserted that billboard businesses were refunding his money and saying they had been instructed not to take any advertising from him during an appearance on Arise TV on Wednesday.
“I called the Lagos police commissioner myself at the exact moment Afromedia occurred in Falomo and told him, “CP, this just happened. It was taken out. We didn’t even know; we assumed that thugs had stolen it.
He said, “We finally realised it was the state government, through LASAA, that deleted it after thorough research.” The business in question did inform us that they had requested that we refrain from taking anything from you. We will refund your money.” It is similar to how JCDecaux returned our money.
In a statement, he said, “We’ll keep sticking to our posters.” Last week, our guys installed several A4 boards on the Third Mainland bridge, which is even a Federal Government route. They were taking it down in the open. after purchasing each of these. We won’t allow this. We will find a way to put our campaign materials out there.”
