No firecrackers this Christmas

The Commissioner of Police in Delta State, CP Ari Muhammed Ali, has announced that the ban on the use of fireworks is still in force and that the command will enforce all the extant laws prohibiting the use of fireworks, such as ‘knock-out,” “banger,” etc., especially during this Yuletide season.

DSP Bright Edafe, the spokesman for Delta State Command, made this known in a statement to ngrDesk. He said, “Parents and guardians are advised to guide their children and wards to desist from using them.” Retailers of such goods are equally warned to withdraw from the sales of these products as anyone arrested will be prosecuted.”
