NSCDC Lagos Command elevates 411 officers in a grand ceremony, recognizing their dedication and hard work. Commandant Keshinro commends leadership for facilitating timely promotions.
The Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) held a vibrant ceremony on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, to officially decorate 411 newly promoted senior and junior officers at the State Command Headquarters in Alausa, Ikeja. The event, led by the Lagos State Commandant, Mr. Adedotun Keshinro, saw the elevation of 280 senior officers and 131 junior officers to their new ranks.
During the ceremony, several ranks were updated, including the promotion of Assistant Commandants of Corps (ACC) to Deputy Commandants of Corps (DCC), Chief Superintendents of Corps (CSC) to Assistant Commandants of Corps (ACC), Superintendents of Corps (SC) to Chief Superintendents of Corps (CSC), and many more in both senior and junior cadres.
Commandant Keshinro commended the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and the Civil Defence, Corrections, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) for facilitating the timely promotions. He also expressed gratitude to the Commandant General of the Corps, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, for clearing the backlog of promotions within the Corps. Keshinro urged the newly promoted officers to uphold the values of the Corps and serve with dedication.
Superintendent of Corps Oluwaseun Abolurin, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Lagos Command, speaking on behalf of the promotees, described the promotions as a recognition of hard work and a motivator to continue serving the nation with excellence.
