Professor Wahab Egbewole, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), has been named the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin.
The university’s provost and chairman of the governing council, Abuidu Yazid, made the news while briefing reporters at the main campus in the state capital of Ilorin.
He said that the appointment followed the tenure of the outgoing Vice Chancellor, Professor Suleiman Abdulkareem, which expired on October 15, 2022.
Ile-Ife, Osun State native and professor of law and jurisprudence, Prof. Egbewole, has worked at the institution for the past 25 years.
