Former Lagos governor and All Progressives Congress National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has felicitated with Osun State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on his 67th birthday. He described him as an unassuming trailblazer, astute manager of resources, and silent achiever.
The APC leader urged the governor to continue to make the desired difference in the lives of the people of Osun State.
In a birthday congratulatory statement released on Wednesday by his Media Office, Asiwaju Tinubu said: “I join your family, friends, associates, and millions of your admirers to felicitate with you on the occasion of your 67th birthday. I thank God for your life and the opportunities He has given you to be on the saddle at this momentous time to superintend over the affairs of your State of Osun.
The totality of your personality revolves around your humble beginnings, remarkable successes in business, and ultimate fulfillment in life.
“You have demonstrated the virtues of an Omoluabi as exemplified in your exceptional character, humility, integrity, honesty, resilience, and decency.
Through my close relationship with you, I can attest to the fact that you are an embodiment of patriotism, courage, tolerance, and philosophical calmness especially on testy occasions that would have ordinarily taxed the patience of any leader.
“What you celebrate today is the progress and development that you and your team have brought to Osun State and the renewed hope you have given the people.
Your government of continuity, which commands mass acceptance and goodwill, has successfully built on the foundation laid by your worthy predecessors. I note with satisfaction that you preside over a state that treasures its peace and tranquillity under an inclusive, dynamic, and transformational leadership.
“You are a model governor in the way and manner you have judiciously utilised state resources in the last three years, through creative financial engineering and management, to impact the lives of your people. Indeed, you have demonstrated a personal example of candour, simplicity, and humility in power.
