The European Union has launched a platform to better strengthen Nigerian youths

The European Union has launched a platform to better strengthen Nigerian youths called the ‘EU Youth Sounding Board in Nigeria.’

Speaking with newsmen after the launching of the platform, EU Head of Cooperation in Nigeria, Cecile Tassin-Pelzer said it will help further strengthen the relationship between Nigeria and the EU.

She also said it would further empower the 25 participants in contributing positively to both economic and political discourse in Nigeria.​

In his address, the minister of youths and sports Development, Sunday Dare,​ who commended the EU for the initiative, said the approach to addressing youths issues in the country must be multi-faceted.

He said the move has further added another layer to the efforts of the federal government towards empowering youths in the country.​
