President Buhari sympathizes with Senator Teslim Folarin

President Muhammadu Buhari has issued a statement in response to the death of Angela Nwaka Folarin, the wife of Senator Teslim Folarin.

According to a statement issued by the President’s spokesman, Femi Adesina, Buhari expressed his profound sympathies to Folarin, the legislator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, as well as his children, family members, and friends.

He added, “The President’s prayers and thoughts are with the Folarins as they grieve the departure of a beloved wife and mother, urging them to find solace and strength in the truth that the Almighty God is always with us through the good and difficult seasons of life,” 

Angela Folarin, a barrister, died in the United Kingdom on Friday afternoon.

Folarin, an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, won the Oyo senatorial race in 2019.
