CP Odumosu commissions a police station in Lekki Free Zone

Police commission Lagos Free Zone Station, reassures adequate security

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, today 12th November 2021 commissioned a state-of-the-art Police Station built by the Management of the Lagos Free Zone (LFZ).

Speaking during the commissioning, the CP said the facility would bring policing closer to the people of Akodo, Oke Yeta, Magbon Segun, Oke Segun, Itoki, Idotun, Alasia, Okuraye villages and environs.

While expressing profound appreciation to the Inspector-General of Police, Alkali Baba Usman, for granting approval for the construction of the Station, CP Odumosu reassured the people that the Command would continue to leverage the existing collaboration between the police and the public by providing robust security and conducive environment for socio-economic activities to strive in the Zone and other parts of the State.

In a report to ngrDesk, the spokesman for Lagos State Command CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu said the Commissioner of Police thereafter paid a courtesy visit to the Onise of Iseland, Oba, Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, and also visited the Marine Police Post as well as the recently commissioned Ise PoliceStation, to inspect the facilities and carry out security assessment of the area.
