Abuja, April 6th, 2023 – The Chairman/Chief Executive of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd), has announced the extension of the deadline for the agency’s recruitment portal by one week. The decision was made to enable applicants who are facing challenges submitting their applications to complete the process.
Originally, the online application portal was opened on March 12th, 2023 and scheduled to close on April 8th, 2023. However, with the one week extension, the portal will remain open until midnight on April 17th, 2023.
The extension of the deadline is expected to provide an opportunity for applicants who are yet to complete their application process to do so. Furthermore, individuals who are interested but have not signed up for the recruitment process can take advantage of the additional days to fill their application on the portal.

According to Femi Babafemi, the Director of Media & Advocacy at NDLEA Headquarters, Abuja, the extension of the recruitment portal deadline is aimed at ensuring that all eligible applicants have equal opportunities to apply for the available positions.
The NDLEA is an agency of the Nigerian government responsible for preventing the use, production, and distribution of illicit drugs. The agency is committed to ensuring that only qualified and eligible candidates are recruited into the NDLEA.
