Four Suspected Electoral Offenders Handed Over to INEC for Prosecution in Lagos State
The Lagos State Police Command has handed over four suspected electoral offenders to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for prosecution. This development was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officers in Lagos, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, on Friday.
According to Hundeyin, out of the 23 persons arrested during the Presidential and Parliamentary elections in Lagos State, six of them were allegedly found to be culpable for electoral and criminal acts. Two males and two females were handed over to INEC on Friday morning for alleged unlawful possession of PVCs and diversion of sensitive electoral materials.
In addition, two other suspects who were arrested on the same day will be prosecuted by the police for alleged unlawful possession of firearms. The suspects to be prosecuted by the police have been identified as Joseph Agada and Animashaun Kabiru.

Hundeyin further stated that all the suspects have been charged to court on Friday, as the police and INEC work together to ensure that the electoral process is free and fair, and that perpetrators of electoral crimes are brought to justice.
