Lagos State Police Commissioner Calls for Improved Bank Security Measures

The Commissioner of Police for Lagos State, CP Abiodun Alabi, has urged commercial banks to implement policies aimed at reducing instances of lawlessness among banking customers. This call was made during a meeting with the Chief Security Officers (CSOs) of all commercial banks operating in the state.

The meeting was prompted by the increasing number of altercations and scuffles at various branches of commercial banks. The security leaders were also encouraged to use all legal means to maintain public peace in their respective areas of operation.

CP Alabi reassured residents of Lagos that while the scarcity of new naira notes continues to be monitored, the police command remains committed to prioritizing the safety and security of the banking public and the community as a whole.
