The Lagos State Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment has denied the existence of an ongoing internship programme under its Graduate Internship program in Lagos State. The Ministry issued a statement disclaiming social media messages requesting unemployed youths with NYSC certificates and LASRRA to register for the purported ongoing Lagos State Internship program on gipplasg.lagosstate.gov.ng.
The Ministry clarified that although it has been in charge of the Graduate Internship Programme over the years, the commencement date for the 2023 edition of the programme is yet to be made public. It advised members of the public to disregard the social media message and to desist from re-sharing it on different social media platforms.
The Ministry stated that it would make an official public announcement as soon as the 2023 edition of the Programme is approved, using various social media platforms of the State Government and other communication platforms.
