Former Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose, has undergone a back surgery overseas.
According to his brother Isaac and former assistant Lere Olayinka, the former governor had undergone this procedure twice in the previous five months.
They assert that the injuries he incurred in an assault during the 2018 Ekiti governorship election made the surgery essential.
According to reports, Fayose underwent his first neck procedure in February 2022.
