APC Politics: Hon. Salvador laments sideline, non-inclusion of members in party affairs

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos state has expressed disappointment and dissatisfaction in the manner his group members are sidelined in Lagos APC s Affairs especially when it comes to decision making and representation.

Honorable Salvador who is speaking ahead of the party’s October 15 state congress decries in strong terms the non-inclusion of some sections of party members, particularly, the Conscience Forum faction at the stakeholders meeting held Monday at his residence in Surulere in Lagos.

Addressing journalists, hon. Salvador appealed for an urgent change to right the wrong, warning that if not redressed, it will affect the party’s stability in the state and its success in 2023 general elections.

While he urged APC Lagos leadership Lagos to change its approach to restore confidence and promote unity and inclusion in the party, Salvador said it is laughable that the national leadership of the party accorded Conscience Forum the recognition denied it in the state despite their contribution to the success of the party in the state.

Meanwhile, the national leadership of APC has issued Conscience forum, forms to carry out their screening exercise for the state congress, a development, Salvador said they are happy about, stating that they are more than ready to do as directed, assuring that the process would be free from imposition and crisis.
